As you might have noticed we now have a brand new website, which we’re very proud of, you might also have seen the recent newsletter which we had published last month.
We will hopefully keep you updated with both the blog and a regular newsletter. For those of you that didn’t get to read the newsletter we had some very interesting articles.
Care Quality Commission Inspection
Firstly we had our first Care Quality Commission inspection which we passed with flying colours. The Care Quality Commission are the regulatory body that is tasked with inspecting hospitals, care homes, dental practices and GP’s. This was our first inspection and we ticked all the boxes.
BDA Good Practice
In order to be part of the scheme, we have to give the following commitments and 406 dental passionately believes in delivering quality to our patients so we whole heartedly embrace all these principals.
1. We involve our patients in all aspects of their care and ensure that their needs and preferences are considered and that they can take informed decisions.
2. We ensure a safe environment by undertaking risk assessments and managing potential hazards within the practice. We follow current guidelines for preventing crossinfection.
3. We recruit staff that are competent to undertake the duties associated with their role and provide training where required. We encourage on-going professional development for all members of our team.
4. We monitor the quality of the service we provide and seek the views of our patients to identify opportunities for improvement.
406 Dental were already implementing these best practices but becoming members of a scheme such as this ensures that we deliver the highest quality treatment to you.
As we said earlier, we will post regular blogs on the website, keep an eye out for special offers as we’ll use this media to keep you all posted about these too.
we’d also like to involve you in the blog, is if you have any ideas we can use for content or if you have any charitable events you would like us to mention, please speak to reception and let us know.
